A Special Thanks

• I wanted to reach out to thank everyone who was involved in making Saturday's event at Grant Cottage a tremendous success (estimates are 300 vehicles & 900-1000 visitors). Despite some logistical challenges from the record turnout, everyone stepped up to make sure our visitors had a safe and enjoyable time. It was great to see such a large number of children among our visitors. The feedback from visitors returning to their cars in the afternoon was overwhelmingly positive. Children were smiling with their painted faces and flags, sure to remember a fun, entertaining & educational day with the family at Grant Cottage. I'm confident that everyone's efforts will have a lasting effect that will benefit the Historic Site for years. Thank you all for helping introduce so many to the Historic Site and creating a memorable experience for them.
